S.T.V. Qravel has been the student tennis association of Leiden since 1984. With over 500 members, we are the largest student tennis association and one of the biggest student sports associations in Leiden!

With us, you have the opportunity to play tennis at any level. Both beginners and (advanced) players find their place within our club. We are a sporty association that gathers every Tuesday evening. We alternate tennis sessions with drinks at our regular pub, "Dranklokaal 1650." Additionally, we offer training sessions so you can improve or learn tennis skills. For the (advanced) players, we offer selective training. Besides recreational tennis, Qravel participates every year in the spring, fall, and winter competitions. Qravelaars showcase their tennis skills both regionally and nationally. We regularly visit external tournaments hosted by our sister associations across the country. Finally, we organize many tournaments ourselves: our own Open Tournament, a family tournament, New Year’s tournament, club championships, and a ladder competition.

Besides the sporty side, Qravel also offers many other activities. Every year, there is the Qerstdiner, a member weekend, a first-year weekend, a ski trip, a gala, visits to the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, and Qravel organizes two open parties per year, attracting students from all over the Netherlands. We also celebrate our birthday every year during the 'diesweek': a week full of activities to celebrate Qravel’s existence!
